Kitchener Eye Exam

Comprehensive Eye Exams.

Regular eye exams are an important part of preventative health care. Eye exams are much more than determining a glasses prescription. A comprehensive eye exam allows your optometrist to assess your eye’s overall health and monitor for eye disease and other health concerns, like high blood pressure and diabetes.

We use the latest technology to monitor your ongoing eye health and to diagnose disease in the early stages, ensuring early intervention. Regular eye exams are the best way to maintain long term eye health.

Children’s Eye Exams.

Vision plays an important role in childhood development. An estimated 80% of learning is visual, making vision an important component of school performance. Vision is also crucial to the development of hand-eye coordination and depth perception, which are important for extracurriculars and sport performance.

Many eye conditions are not accompanied by visible symptoms, and a child may not recognize that they have a vision issue. A comprehensive eye exam allows for a thorough assessment of vision and ocular health, and the management of any issues. Regular eye exams throughout childhood ensure children obtain and maintain the best vision possible, which will contribute to overall development and learning.
